Johannesburg Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik will be part of Johannesburg-based Jozi Stars for the latter tiers of the Mzansi Super League Twenty20 tournament this season.
The franchise introduced on Thursday that Malik could take over from West Indian Chris Gayle, the franchise’s marquee overseas signing. Gayle is best to be had for the primary six of the Stars’ ten league fits.
The Jozi Stars are the defending champions within the tournament which changed into launched by Cricket South Africa last year despite the lack of a title sponsor or a major television deal. The 2019 version could be performed between Nov 8 and Dec sixteen. Report by Dawn News
